I don't solely believe in certifications. Well a little bit. I am a certified tester on the advanced level for Test Analyst and Technical Test Analyst within ISTQB.
The thing about attending courses is great. And haveing a "quiz" at the end is great fun. But it is the same as any certifies tester is a good one.
Neither are the certifications or the people who makes them.
For beeing at great tester you need more skills and experience than the certificates is proof of...
The paper will not make you able to use what you know.
I recently had the pleasure of taking the Rapid software Testing Course with Michael Bolton. It was good three days. A lot of sence.
Possible to impliment. Time will tell... But we ought to give a shot.... :-)
